One thing I’ve realised I can’t have enough of is well sized strong pouches and bags for me to store all my bric-a-brac in (ie. keep all the rubbish in my handbags organised). Indeed, even when I am packing ‘light’ I am still carrying around a ton of things with me incase I need it, or the husband or the kids, or some random stranger who happens to ask me for things in the street (YES that actually happens).
Anyway, I couldn’t help but love the look of these Sew Lomax SOS sets:
SOS Sets come in three sizes, Large, Medium and Mini, and come pre packed with some essentials, hence the SOS!
The idea of these pouches is that you can buy one and leave it in your bag, the car, your desk and have some emergency essentials in there. For me, I would keep most of the things in and customise too and carry the items around with me most of the time for those just in case moments! They are also really useful to keep in the buggy and in the baby bag – for example I would use the mini bag for lip balm and mummy bits in the baby bag.
The Mini bag (£20) is truly mini – in a super cute way!
I don’t have any other pouch this small. It is NOT for you if you want to use it for say make up or anything larger than a credit card size as it also doesn’t stretch loads. In mine, i currently have some nail oil, lip balm, some wipes, nail clipper etc. It won’t store anything overly long. It’s perfect for my hand bag bits and bobs.
What you get in the bag:
It’s obviously one for the girls – you get an emery board, lip balm, tampon etc. You might ask why you can’t just go out and buy these bits and bobs yourself which you can it will just take time and effort to locate all these products if you don’t already have them to hand.
I also got the Anchor set (£26) which is perfect for storing things for my boys! I like this one to be clear because can see everything I need to hand:
My kit was actually slightly different to what is on the online kit, I didn’t get tweezers in mine and I got a comb rather than a pop our brush.
The wipes are my favourite thing, I’v already used the antibacterial wipes!
You get a mending kit with both sets which is useful.
I have customised this bag with essentials for the boy like travel sized nappy cream, face cream, some snacks its. I like keeping it all together to it’s organised and everything is accessible! I can squish one nappy in here but really its better for kids bits and bobs rather than something like nappies.
Both bags are very good quality, sturdy and will stand up to a battering which is just as well because I always ending up dropping things etc.
SOS Kits come in Mini, Medium and Large sizes and are priced from £15 – £30. See the full range here.
